Arcane Archer

Description: Master of the elven warbands, the arcane archer is a warrior skilled in using magic to supplement their combat prowess. Fighters, Rangers, Paladins, and Barbarians become arcane archers to add a little magic to their combat abilities. Conversely, Wizards and Sorcerers may take this prestige class to add combat capabilities to their repertoire.

Proficiencies: Armor Proficiency (Light), Armor Proficiency (Medium), Shield Proficiency, Weapon Proficiency (Martial), Weapon Proficiency (Simple)

Skill Points: 4 + Int mod

Class Skills: Craft armor, Craft trap, Craft weapon, Heal, Hide, Listen, Lore, Move silently, Spot

Primary Saving Throw(s): Fortitude, Reflex

Base Attack Bonus: +1/level

Requirements

Alignment: Any

Classes: Wizard 1, Sorcerer 1, or Bard 1

Factions: All except Ragnar's Kin

Feats: Weapon Focus (Longbow or Shortbow), Point Blank Shot

Epic Feat Progression: 4

Epic Feats: Devastating Critical (Shortbow or Longbow), Epic Prowess, Epic Reflexes, Epic Toughness, Epic Weapon Focus (Shortbow or Longbow), Great Dexterity, Improved Combat Casting, and Overwhelming Critical (Shortbow or Longbow).

Notes

  • Arcane Archer requires the player to be Elf or Half-Elf.
  • For every two levels beyond 9th, the potency of the arrows fired by the Arcane Archer increases by +1.
