WARNING: while you will not be able to take levels in other classes after joining the Purists Guild, if you try, you may PERMANENTLY lose pure-class abilities or otherwise bug your character. So be careful when taking levels.
Pure-class Fighter, Barbarian, and Paladin characters gain access to exceptional bonus abilities in epic levels by joining the Purist Guild. To do this, talk to Chuck the Purist in Avendell upon reaching level 21 and opt for the way of the purist.
Once selected, the bonus abilities will be applied automatically upon on level up; in some cases, a special token with the ability will be added to the PC's inventory.
Joining the Purist Guild is separate from and does not disqualify from joining factional Guilds.
