The Old Trade Route's title is self-explanatory. This road once provided merchants with a path from Avendell to Melencia that they could use to travel between the two Settlements safely. But now this route is one of danger, and the desolate road is only travelled by the trained adventurers.
This route links the Dark Forest to Melencia's Enchanted Forest. Along the road reside many monsters like Niragawa, Bugbears, and Goblins. The route specifically is two areas and it disappears in the Enchanted Forest. Along the route, there is a cave of Bugbears. This cave is the heart of the Bugbear society in Aetheria. Also the trail is guarded by vile Lizardmen from the Yuan-Ti Territory.
