Type of Feat: Class
Prerequisite: Champion of Torm 3, Paladin 2
Required for: None
Specifics: This feat allows the character to make a special attack against evil creatures. The character applies their Charisma modifier to his Attack Roll, and his class level to the damage delivered. Smite evil may be used 1x/day.
Use: Selected
This only affects evil creatures.
Attack Bonus from the charisma bonus will not count towards the weaponry +20 Attack Bonus cap
A character can take the Extra Smiting feat to increase the smiting ability to 3x/day.
To increase the damage a character can take Great Smiting feats.
Paladins and Blackguards (sorry-not-sorry CoTs) can get more smites when they detect infidels.
Mechanics:
- Have less smites per day than you max out at (0 for no extra smiting, < 3 for extra smiting).
- Use detect alignment token.
- Receive one additional smite; receive two smites if the enemy is an NPC of higher CR than you or CR >= 35 and you have Extra Smiting.
- You can gain additional smites at most once per real time minute.
