Monks do lose their Wisdom AC Bonus when wearing armor and/or shield and when shape shifted. The armor/shield penalty is neglected when shape shifted.
In addition to the Wisdom AC Bonus, Monks receive a Special AC Bonus every 5 levels. This Special AC Bonus is lost when wearing armor and/or shield but retained when shape shifted.
