Not motivated enough to finish it...

Hey all, long time no speak.
I got NWN 2 a couple months back and I've gotten part way through however I find myself not even wanting to finish the game. It seams like they just ripped off most of NWN 1 and added some different graphics, an absolutely horrid inventory icon set, and screwed up an already mediocre menu system (i.e. the radial menu).
Anyway, maybe when NS5 is done, you guys can improve it some

One thing that stuck out that I hate was not being able to clear a quickslot, am I missing something?
I ended up putting in cantrips over top of the slots I wanted to clear, then remvoing the cantrips from my spell book, so the "unused" quickslots atleast looked uniform.

Click and drag icon off quick slot area, like you were going to drop it on the ground. That should clear the slot.

Wow, that's counter-intuitive...
A right-click and picking an option to empty would make more sense.

Does anyone know if there is a way to manually invoke your voiceset?
Voiceset commands were great for quickly commanding party/henchmen/pets in nwn1. nwn2 party management was a pain...

I read somewhere that the next patch was going to allow for quick-commands, as the V menu in NWN.
Ah, rumors... but the Beta is out there, if you're interested.

ya its in the beta patch but i havent updated to it as i have some personal fixes and overrides that it would mess up lol

i believe it was under the right click drop down menu.
either at the bottom, or under the druid ability submenu...
...somewhere it gives the option....

YEAH it is quite annoying.... every time I'm playing nwn2 I try to use the radial menu at first, one of the few things bioware did well! (the other being the great online prediction code).

they should really patch the radial menu back in...
i dont care if its a 500mb update
