Question about relic raids

From the wiki:
Camping Relic Cradles with high level characters until a "Raiding" server broadcast message appears is not in the interest of fair play
How does that relate to players logging out and then logging in with powerfull characters in close proximity (usually right outside the building housing the relic) to their relic once the raiding message is broadcast?

I see that everyone (with a high level toon) is doing this.

before a small fix went in you could log out right next to the relic and pop in on top of a raider. a script went in that would give the raider a few seconds before you pummeled them by auto porting you to a random spot 4 zones or so away.

So it is ok then to relog with a high level toon to defend.

Was just making sure.

its advisable to relog with a high lvl toon to defend. as most raiders will be very high in lvls just to make sure they don't die when taking the relic.

there is no boundries on lvl when it comes to raiding/defending.

aye ...and i think zing has extended the relog boundary now , so it will take longer for the defenders to make it to their cradel if it is being plundered at the time of their relog
