Recent Connection Issues

I was recently informed that my business class broadband was upgraded to 15000/1500 for no additional charge.

However, after about the first week there has been serious issues with the connection speeds. I was originally testing in the evenning with a decent load on server at around 12000/1200.

These last few days the connection has been horible.

Right now I am testing at an average of 400/600.

I have contacted my service provider, they are aware of the issues, and they assure me they are working hard to correct the problem.

I apologize for the inconvience. I really do not have another choice for my service. I am too far from hub for DSL. I have priced a T-1 line, and this is too expensive an option.

Please be patient.

Honestly the last few days I think it has been the net as a whole. I have heard grumblings from more than a few people about the state of things. If I believe my father then there is some serious solar activity that is going on. But my father does have a few ideas that I think are more than a little off the wall.

Ah! so that's why the server is down.

Sometimes it does pay to read the forums :D

Unfortunately the server is down for the night. We are unable to remotely reset the server and the host is out of town for the evening.

When you say "for the night", how many hours is that?

Different time zones confuse me. :?:

Sorry I forget the time zone thingy. At any rate the host should be back in town "soon" and is aware that the server requires his attention.
