First?
Any idea why I can't get on the main server eventhough I can see it?
Reflections is no problem to get on, but I don't wanna play there!

try setting up a direct shortcut and specify port 60001.

I did do that, but it keeps timing out.
I've checked all my settings and they are fine.
I'll try again later tonight maybe something will fix itself.

I know about the proper command line.
Heck, I was the one that posted the original tutorial in the Help section showing how to setup multiple direct connects when NS4 was on 4 servers.
All my settings are fine.

Ya, it happened yesterday sometime, got my count reset.
I've thanked TGPO but then he went and locked the Off-Topic forums...
IP Changed and Now Can't Connect to NS4

I'm pretty sure the NS4 IP changed recently (within a week) and as has been the case in the past when this occured I can't connect to NS4. It doesn't appear in Favorites (even when I click Add to Favorites) and when I try to connect to it (even direct connect) it just times out.
I can connect to NS4 Reflections fine and other servers fine. I even tried changing the port to :60001 without any success.
In the past when this occured usually after a few days I could connect, but its been almost a week now.
Any ideas?

Well thats the thing...
I can see the old NS4 IP in History (its not online).
When I hit add to favourites it doesn't get added, when a friend of mine is online on NS4 he doesn't appear on my Buddy list.
The only way I am able to find NS4 is looking in PW Action in the Internet Tab.
This happened before when the IP changed and it happened for many people. It seemed to cause about 1/4 of the regulars to not be able to connect (it would do the same thing and just time out). Yet we could see players playing. In the past changing the port had worked, but not this time, unless its a port besides :5121 or :60001

it IS a different port now: 62307
The trick to finding this out is when you see the server listed, but clicking on it doesn't work, try going to [Server Information] and make note of the IP address and port, then use [Direct Connect] and enter that in (ie: [74.192.163.185:62306]).
After that, you'll see it in the history list, and that one should work.

I actually did that but NWN defaults all ports as :5121 I believe (I noticed that when the port was :60001 but the details claimed it to be :5121).
Ok strange...
Looking at NS4 from Internet Tab (PW Action) it shows the port as :5121, once I direct connected to port :62307 NS4 then appeared on my History and then I could add it to favorites from there. When looking at server details from either of those screens it shows port :62307, yet looking back at NS4 from Internet tab its still says :5121. Strange but True!
