Guilds responsability for its members

i don't care about your little treaties but it seems if some members break the rules and logs out before punishment is given then the leader or the guild as a whole should pay the price yelling at boot or ban let anyone in without checking them out and you pay for it

a guild leader or any given guild member is physically impossible of controlling and monitoring his or her fellow guild members at every waking moment and is, in fact, NOT responsible for the individual actions carried out by that individual unless that man/woman is directly involved in the execution of the said illicit action.

if, however, the guild leader or guild members saction such an action and a member of said guild executes the action, then yes, the guild leader and/or members may be held accountable to an extent.

conversely, if a given member of a guild commits an illicit act that the guild master is aware of, and the guild punishes/excises said offender, the guild should not be held accountable.

no one should be held accountable for a crime they had nothing to do with. If a faction member breaks a server rule, you dont punish the entire faction. if a member of a party breaks a server rule, you dont punish everyone in the party. Responsibility lies on the head of the individuals involved, not everyone they have associated with.

Minding our own business

So yeah ... I was there also during the Slayer killing debacle...
I was in a party of 3 people minding our own business in the epic areas while KST and Bretheren were doing their usual testosterone fest on shout.. DM Chase threatened them with having Slayer kill them and we gave a suggestion of how to kill them with a new Air Guardian...and Slayer gets off by saying we are complaining...after 30 minutes of shout from the others. Slayer shows up behind us and threatens to kill us demanding that we not use shout. ( While we are in the epic area mind you. )
Anyway...had he killed us or attempted to I would have logged also...

AM I MISSING IT SOMEWHERE IN THE RULES WHERE A PLAYER HAS TO STAY LOGGED ON FOR A DM KILL OR BE BANNED? IF SO PLEASE SEND IT TO ME SO THAT I MAY ADJUST MY PLAY ACCORDINGLY.

Thank you,
Poet

PS> I have tried very hard to make it a point to be very positive and not complain for quite some time, but that was out of line.

Our party was rockin like a mofo and actually enjoying the new areas before we were threatened for making 1 joke suggestion on shout.

We were on the verge of logging also due to the death threat...lol
