Item Point Balancing

We're starting the process of balancing item points. This requires that we update some files in our back end system which were not updated after Obsidian released path 1.23. As part of this process, some item points will likely change (one-handed weapons come to mind). There may also be some other unforeseen changes regarding item points. Please be patient while we work through this complicated task.
Thanks!

Is there some way to find out how many points each slot can handle (other than trial-and-error)? Does it change by a standard amount per level, or some sort of diminishing return?

At the moment, no. Though I do have some ideas in that direction when I get time to implement some more custom GUI stuff. So stay tuned.

Hello there, good to see there's still an active community here. Hope the unfinished nature of NS5 doesn't keep too many people away, because the world looks great so far.

I can only speak from my own experiences, that between NWN 2 campaigns, Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect 2, NS4, and NS5, it's been years since I've had this many great gaming options at the same time. Perhaps never before. None of which I've completed and therefore I'm spread pretty thin when given the chance to play.
I'm having quite the conflict as to what to play each day. DAO & ME2 won't endure the test of time as NS4 has and likely NS5 will. Even though they are great games as well.
