Server resets

Hi folks. Some have noted a few difficulties with North this past week. The autoreset program has been acting up. To try and relieve some of this trouble, I'm going to try a different reboot schedule for the next little while. The server will now be resetting at 09h00 and 21h00 Pacific Standard. If 12 hours is a bit too long between resets, then I'll adjust it accordingly.

Fang we have the stack errors again... 10am reset on July 7th

Hey Fang, xander thinks this might have happened because I deleted 3 old toons, before the 10am reset, is this possible? He says it happened to him before on East.

Its possible that that has unsynched the database. I've been looking at the database admin files and things seem to have loaded up properly, etc., so lets just see if things settle out.

Seems that I am unable to respawn while this little dificulty is going on. Is that a part of the same problem? Or may be just linked?

The best thing to do, log out and back in. It'll bring you back in alive. The window for the respawn isn't kicking in, and rezes are hard to do.. having to do them two or three times for them to kick in.

Yeah. I'm afraid there may be some hardware issues...which is stupid, since the hardware is only 5 months old. I think the server might be down...I'll run down and have a look later today.

The server is back up. Shut itself off for some reason. I'll be taking a closer look at the hardware in the next few days.
