I'm guessing most of the Neversummer servers are run from Windows boxes out of people's homes.
Anyone with NWN installed can run a server, it's easy to do. And with the limitation of NWN not being an MMO, it would probably be easy to run a NWN server mod with enough bandwidth and a static IP.
Hardware-wise, it could be done with $500 worth of hardware, but you could throw a little extra into the game with a good UPS and a nicely built server.
NS servers can be run anywhere. Is North run in a home? I don't know.

There is alot that comes with running a server and It isnt the Computer that is causing these problems.... it was the provider. The server also gets hung up on resets from time to time and they are working on that as well.

Cryodog has notified me that the server is down. No idea whether it is an IP change, hardware, or software. I'll get it back up later on today when I have a chance.
