East appears to be having some major heat issues....well at least thats my guess. I have heat strips on my memory to help get rid of the heat and the memory is still fairly hot. The way the game keeps locking up seems to be memory related. Not sure what I'm going to do about this yet, may just go buy a new machine but I dread the setting up of the mod.

I just updated the cpu driver, lets see if that helps.

VNC seems to be giving me all kinds of event errors and has been for some time. This could be the problem for the freezes. I recently turned it back on and the server stopped so I went and uninstalled it. Lets see if the server runs good again.

I'm going to try to purchase a new video card for the East server as I finally got an event error that mentioned a video fault. If I can find a cheap one at the store on Saturday, then East may come down for 15 minutes(or however long it takes me to replace the card) to make the swap.

Server keeps locking up so I took it down until I can get that new video card in, sometime saturday morning(eastern time).

New card installed on server. Its up and running now.

Server went down due to line issues on the street, working now to get it back online.

For anyone who is having problems connecting, it appears to be weather related.

As near as I can tell, the server is up, it is just losing its internet connection. Until the weather improves, I expect this problem to persist.

It's about 9:30-9:40PM here in Arizona, and the East server seems to be popping in and out of the server list, also connecting is very slow and major lag at hand, just thought I would post, probably weather related I'm guessing.

Major server lag, impossible to relog. More memory probs?

It cleared up a few hours later.. probably storm related. Works fine now.

Did East fall down, go boom?

Server is back up, but my character is gone.

Due to the age of the server and that its been running for years on the same equipment mostly, I have decided to stop the 12 hour server reboot and go with a 12 hour kill of the nwserver program to restart the mod thus keeping the server itself running. Forcing a 12 hour reboot seems to be getting more failures than I like. Plus servers are meant to always run and it doesn't like the shutting down process. I'm hoping that this new way will work better and that memory won't leak to force crashes or lag.
