cd key in use

Occasionally when I try to change charactors, I will get an error when logging back in. The error states; "Cd key is still in use. Please retry in 5 mnutes." What is causing this? My cd was stolen about 3 weeks ago, could that have anything to do with it?

if they stole CD but not your CD key, then that wouldn't have anything to do with it (i think).
i get the same message sometimes when relogging. usually resolves itself within a few minutes.

It has to do with how the server releases (or fails to release) the CD key. Its entirely a bioware thing unfortunatly. Just let it go and wait a few minutes, no one has snagged your CD key.

I usually get it when i press the wrong server, and managed to exit it even before im able to choose my chars. In that case it records my cd key as being used on that server. I fix it by joining the server that holds my key, and when i can see my whole char vault I just disconnects and is able to play other servers again.
