How's East's performance?

How is the new server running? Watching the cpu, its looking like 10% or less usually. But that may be because not many are doing anything with lots of mobs yet.

Incidently, if you are playing with someone else behind the same router, one of you needs to go into your nwnplayer.ini file and change the port number from 5120 to another number like 5122. Otherwise both games are using same port and that cause you to have ghosting and poor performance.

Anyway, let me know if there is lag or anything like that.

Greetings,
Incidently, if you are playing with someone else behind the same router, one of you needs to go into your nwnplayer.ini file and change the port number from 5120 to another number like 5122. Otherwise both games are using same port and that cause you to have ghosting and poor performance.
Is that client port or game port that must be changed? or both?

Thanks,

At your service,
DZ

Played for a few hours last night. The server seemed to be running great while I was on.

It's okay so far but there's an issue on the road to avendel 1. Some player has been logged there all night and there are litterally hundreds of drop bags all over the place. They're causing lag and when I run thru the area, my character falls below the graphics and I have to relog. Can someone boot him so the drop bags go away?

Seems to be running fine Pro. I saw a max of nine players on while I was on yesterday and no noticeable lag.

We'll know more when ppl get to the higher lvls. The higher lvl areas tend to produce more lag.

Found a problem.

My mod reloader is not working.

The server needs to be reloaded. There is a toon stuck in Avendell 1 that I cannot boot. I suspect someone used the same port number from 2 machines.

Its acting that way.

Also, we need to know what the reload times are.

No reload time as of yet, what interval you want, every 24 hours?

Yea someone had 2 machines behind same router with same port 5120, caused the problem, reset should fix it.

The server seems to be full? It's member list is 7/1. Is it being reset right now?

yep, just reset. Reset should occur every day at 3 am eastern unless DM Sun Tzu prefers a different time.

That sounds good. Once a day should be fine for now.

We'll see if we need it more often.
