Tagnus Timemaster

On my fourth desperate attempt at getting to this boss and being prevented 3 times by the portal doors being locked, I finally was able to get to Tagnus to fight and kill him. Looted key, went to loot room and opened his loot chest. What a fantastic necklace, I must say... but when I went to loot it I was very abruptly interrupted by a server message stating 'This Item Cannot Be Given Away.' 
Is this a known bug, if so, is it going to be getting fixed?
