drowning on sunken isle

so, i was on my way to sunken isle, when the boat sank. that doesn't happen to me very often, and i like to read dialogue (since you all are so kind to go to the trouble to write it).
have you noticed, the dialogue he gives you when you're standing there underwater mentions a bubble, and the fact that it will protect the person who went down with the ship until they get to the merfolk city? that's very misleading, when the person is actually standing there drowning.
also, if the sharks are going to be so much of a threat that we're not able to solo a run across the sands at level 28, shouldn't the xp be a little higher?
