Most of the emote wands I've seen use modified rest scripts and hak paks, though.

hmmm that's odd. I figured that it was simple enough to grab one from the cep pack and just stick it in the new player helper or streetwalker. That way whoever wants one can get one and whoever doesn't won't.

i don't think you can just grab stuff from CEP without making everyone install the paks that support it.

Hmm I think it'll still work tho for those who do have CEP installed.

yes. but NS has a longtime policy of being hak-pak clean, which includes not having any content at all that requires haks.

Yes, I very much agree with the policy of NS. While emote wands and such are nice, it isn't worth it at the price of having to install hak paks, etc. Part of the beauty of NS is the fact that now hak paks are necessary, thus eliminating a variety of potential bugs and lag sources. As a result, we have a high quality server with fewer issues and much more friendly to new arrivals.
