No word about Psionics in the NWN2 FAQ. However, there will be all the base or CORE classes plus a couple of PrCs to start.

Ranger
Rogue
Sorcerer
Wizard

PrCs - Prestige classes

None have been named, yet.

As to your question about free play, from the FAQ, it will be the same as it is now.

I believe i read in PC Gamer magazine that a warlock base class will be added to NWN2, the class is supposedly a bit of sorceror and wizard.

And no, there won't be psionics.

and there's no plans for a mac version :-/

Well, no plans for a mac version so if/when they do linux use that instead. Macs are *nix operating systems now and you can even run your favorite linux programs on it. With that in mind, I actually managed to get the windows version of NWN to operate under linux, not the linux version of NWN. Not that I recomend that path, but I know that it is possible.

All in all it should be possible to play NWN2 on any of the operating systems. Just dont expect it to run well on anything other than windoze.
