Has anyone ever had this problem? The toon in question is:
8 Monk +6
4 SD +3
10 DD +10
Total 19

My base atack reads 18 in game. Am I missing something, or am I bugged?

What are your first 20 levels? Regardless of class, you only increase by +1 BAB every other level once you get above 20.

Are you looking at your AB on the Character Sheet or in Combat Window? Bash a chest or get someone to hold still for you a sec and see what the combat window shows. My monk toon shows one less AB on Character Sheet than it actually gets. Don't know why, but that's the way it is.

the 1st 20 levels determine the majority of your bab
based on the combination above you could have several different ab's

remember after 20 every 2 levels = 1 ab regardless of class

so

if the 8 Monk levels were taken 1st that would be 6 ab
then lets say you went SD 4 at that point thats another +3 for 9 bab @ 12. This leaves 8 levels of DD @ 20 for a fnal 20 bab of 17. After that u have 2 more levels bringing your current ab to 18 @ 22... i'll have to assume thats the general path you took seeing that the ab matches... on and Iougha... the combat window really has nothing to do with BAB... thats all modified bab, bab is used to calculate things like # of attacks... good advice normally tho, but this really has nothing to do with that... just seems most people still dont understand how bab is calculated... they need to go buy the D&D PHB 3 and read up on it there... much better than th crap in the NWN manuals...

That's where I screwed up... was thinking noramal AB progression after 20.

sounds like what i said put explained so he understands it better...=P

Actualy understood his just fine... and have had all of the 3E books for years... simply forgot epic AB progression is fixed rather than class dependant =P
