This happened like a week ago and I forgot to post it.

Koil was doing Hignar's quest. After he gave Hignar the book and went outside, a guy named Daric {OSD} showed up looking for it and killed him (Koil then took revenge, but that is irrelevant )

I thought at first it may have been because he didn't give Hignar the book, but Koil said he did.
We assume he was an NPC, but Koil found it odd that he had a tag.

Anyone know anything about this?

Daric is no NPC. Was Koil able to resume quest with Hignar?

He was able to complete the quest; it seems weird to me that Daric is not a NPC, which then we assume he is a player, but he didn't show up in the player list at all.

Interesting, maybe my memory fails me. Next time I'm in toolset I'll look to see if it is an NPC.

Daric is an NPC! Must be something sneaky Fanghorn put in a while back.
