Just wondering - it it an item or a modification to the character?
I tried out the magic cactus with my druid shifter, got the message, but no item appeared. I was shifted at the time, if that might have something to do with it.

If you got the successful type message then you should have got the item. Might need to look at that again.

Well, it was pretty easy...
But based on the type of challenge, I'm not sure what could be done to make it harder. Maybe spawn something every time you make a wrong choice?

OK, I had the script set to check for cleric or ranger not druid or ranger on giving item. Should be ok on next reset.
Also tweaked the damage formula on those cacti....beware, those thorns sting big time in some cases

Not sure if the new version is loaded yet, but if it
is, the item is still not dropping for druids. Tried it about a minute ago, got the message, but no item.
[edit - from Pros' post timestamp, I don't think the new version is loaded yet, so just ignore]
[edit #2 - was just thinking... how about incorporating an animal helper & an Animal Empathy skill check? Make the skill check & the critter leads you in the right direction (fail the check & it takes you to a high-damage cactus? I like the idea of negative outcomes

OK, I removed the class check on that script since its kind of redundant. Try again after 3 pm eastern reset.

Other than Sneak Immune and the SR 28, this armor is worse than the armor you get from Finesse Chest, alot worse. Less Soak, less stat bonuses, no Haste, no Imp Evasion.

You entirely missed the point. I can get SR 28 from Veil and Sneak Immune from Night Ring. My point is that this armor is non-drop EC gear. The only way to get it is to make an EC run and then risk death in the cactus field. Yet, when you get it, you probably won't use it because there are many armors that are way better. I'm simply stating that, like Gifted Soul, this armor is inferior in many respects to armors that have no class restrictions. But, unlike Gifted Soul, you probably can't sell this one.
