anyone know how i can get a copy of the storm of zehir expansion pack here is aus?? nobody ships it here for some reason and i cant seem to get a hold of a copy, as it stands ill have to have it mailed to a us buddy and get him to send it here, was wondering if anyone knew if there was an easier way to get it legally in australia, or even why its not available here.

Have you checked the Atari website? I was able to download my copy at half price from them.

I picked up SoZ and NWN2 (but sadly not MotB) for $5.00 each at direct2drive.com.

Admittedly that was a temporary promotion and I would expect the prices are not -quite- that low, but at least as of that time, direct2drive.com was also offering digital versions. May want to comparison shop between there and atari.com...

Sadly it did not sell at all down under true (they could not even sell the 1st run), so thats why u cant get it here.
As you said no one is even shipping it here so you cant even order it in. Best bet like the poster above said , if you have a great connection thats speedy downloading it direct to your hard drive is prolly the easiest/only way aside from what your doing via your buddy. But i would much rather have hard copies on disk incase anything goes wrong with my crappy machine.

Oh well Australia is the best place to live in the world but being such a pokey little market far out of the way does have its downsides

I can't speak for the Atari site, but Direct2Drive allows you to download well after you buy the games, so unless they go out of business or something like that, you should be safe (I'd email yourself the CD keys though just in case that does happen -- always possible to get .iso's of the software as long as you have the keys saved somewhere safe...)

lol too true fezz, love it here but the sometimes the isolation can be a pain in the beehind, visiting mates and family is bloody expensive too.....

hmm, ill have to check out directdrive, thanks for the info everyone, ill have a pretty good connection soon so that would be a bit more viable, can always save some back ups with the keys too.

be quicker to dl it then have it sent two places and overseas, been dying to take a look round.

Just an FYI - Atari is running 50% off many of it's downloads, including NWN2 and the expansion packs.

You can get all three at the moment for just $25...
