Highlands

South of Daeron on the shores of the sea are a series of windswept hills known only as the Highlands. There is a ferry here which sails to the Sunken Isle, and so a small guard contingent from the Northern Coalition is stationed here. The Highlands are home to a large number of canines of varying intelligence and aggressiveness — everything from ordinary wolves to blink dogs and the largest and most powerful canines known in Aetheria, the alpha wolf. There are also minotaurs who prowl the western edge of these hills, perhaps they are the sole remnant of an ancient minotaur civilization that once existed in Aetheria, for there are ruins atop the highest hill here which lead into a tomb populated by undead minotaur guardians.
