I've never noticed the difference between having darkvision and not. Has anyone noticed this? I was wondering if it'd be possible to apply ultravision to those who have darkvision so that their sight improves noticeably in dark areas (without the UV visual effect of eyes floating over the head).
Currently it seems like darkvision is an unimplemented feat that should be doing what ultravision is doing.

Same is true for Tomb of Morsitai Passage. It is pitch black in there. With half-elf low-light vision you can make your way around, but not well.
With darkvision you can see things quite clearly.

Aye, and in the goblin caves near the crossroads, my dwarf can see better with no light than he can when there are torches are around. The torches overwhelm darkvision and give you a smaller visual radius. I've never taken a non-dwarf into the underdark, but it'd be interesting to see the contrast there. Overall, I think darkvision is working as intended and I have no complaints.
