Look around!!
The new areas are great so this is not anything negative about those. There are a lot of areas that not visited even when people are the appriopriate level. Yesterday I took my char and revisited some old places and had a lot of fun. Just to name a few the crypts in haddon mirk with the DOD, ash mountain (its ash right?), there are the 2 dragons one near garagoth and the other in the wastes, the yaun ti wastes themselves, and arnoth mountain (not to good at remembering names) with the different undead and young dragons. Of course these areas are for all different lvls.
I guess my point is explore a bit you may just have more fun and for new people all they are seeing in mt trail then gt mt then city raids then epic areas without seeing all this other cool stuff.

yeah, amazons can get you from 10 or so up to 30 now. the tombs up there are good for lower lvls and so are the curst/vamps running around. low lvl gaurds for both NC and AO are there. i went to the low bosses one day and got their drops to give away....i was suprised at how many ppl had never heard of the guys or that they dropped gear for low lvl ppl.

The various crypts up in the NC area are great for leveling certain types of characters. I leveled my cleric there from about level 11 or so to where he is now, where most characters would be spending those levels on the mountain or at the gnolls. And there's lots of great equipment scattered all throughout the game for multiple levels and builds, but a lot of people don't even know some of that stuff exists. I'm still finding stuff from old areas of the game. It might be a matter of playing style. I like exploring, so that's why I know the layout almost the entire server and I've got a big list of unique drops that I've found all over the game, but a lot of people seem to prefer power leveling which bores the hell out of me.

My NC characters pretty much level in the NC area... Crypts, Morsatai, Highlands, Rock Peak, Haddon Mirk are all great places to level someone designed to kill the undead.
Yes, it does depend a lot on playing style. That and having explored enough of the area to know where some of the better drops are at. Or rather, the drops needed for your character.
Though, why people don't spend more time around Daeron is beyond me... I have found it one of the easiest places to raid for some good drops. Then if you don't want to raid anymore, the armour is perfect for heading out to FrostDale.

man i miss kultach and draco. nobody dragon hunts anymore...it used to be something fun, but they don't drop any extrodinary so no one goes to those places. i like the kobolds in the mountains and the roosts up by sleeth with the baby dragons.

Not to mention the effort needed to take down on of the dragons. Given the xps involved, and the fact that the dragons are only going to drop stuff like normal imubes items and gold bricks/nuggets, most players would rather go raid a city or do FD/Sunken.deathdearler1 wrote:nobody dragon hunts anymore...it used to be something fun, but they don't drop any extrodinary so no one goes to those places.

north from old town to the yaun ti then east and into a cave at the marsh. she'll treat you well. oh and btw bricks and nuggets were worth the carry before the "revised" gold scale in which everything that drops is worthless and its nearly impossible to buy things that you truly need.
