Server 1 Down

What's up with server 1? My main character is on it and I was just wondering when it would be back up.

Is it just me or does it seem like when one server goes down, the comes up in its place and it seems deliberate too?

I've had times where servers unaffiliated with NS come up in my favorites while one of the servers is down; I believe it has to do with Gamespy cycling through IPs when they clear the logs each night at midnight eastern. Knowing that doesn't bring back server 1 right now, but it's fun to know in any case.

I was playing on server 2, it went down and I looked in my history (which I use instead of my favorites) and server 2 was gone and a few secs later server 1 appeared where it usually does in my histroy list (server 1 is right above server 2 in my history list and do appear at the same time when both are up). The opposite had happened a while back before that (don't remember when and wasn't playing on the server when it went down). It was just something I noticed and was curious if anyone else noticed it or if there was anything to this.

All the NS servers seem to come and go in my history as well as on my gamespy list - not sure why that is. Before the vault change Texas didn't show up for a month, so I had to direct connect instead
