Tell ya all.. I've seen these sales a few times by PWnD.. ya take your chances but usually come away for the better.. I have yet to here a whine about them..

We did have a great time with this. Thanks to all the players that participated. Especially the newer players to the server. We'll be doing these some more (trying to get the kb's down on those mules!).

Our whole intention is to get some laughs out of it. We let one good fellow almost kill himself on the Azerblood Fire Shield while pounding on a Dwarven Defender. Harms and heals to the right/wrong players helped him come out on top there.

Another guy got to fight Batman ::DD:: but that only lasted a second. We let him do something else and win a good prize.

Then we tried "Bowling with Lomith" where we put a bunch of players behind Lomith and tried to push him into the pile with a sixth level bigby. Unfortunately, it insta-killed him as we realized he only had 60 hp. He won a Staff of Shadows though. So much for five minutes of setup.

Clearly the winning move was by Mining Monk. He was playing Follower of DragonFlames. Having a good time. So we setup a scenario where we would have Silent K memorize an Implode for the first time ever . Since he's not an "Imploder Cleric" and only has the minimum Wis we figured the DC would be about 30. 50/50 chance for the guy. We had him roll d20 to see if he'd get a BardSong or BardCruse. He lost but we decided to give him a bard song anyway. Finally, we tell him to "get ready" and "Go". We see Silent K start to cast the spell and then a caster's worst nightmare, "SpELL COunteReD!!". I think I woke up the dog I laughed so hard. That was awesome!

Anyway, I wanted to also say thanks to the ::DD::. They came and ambushed us at first and probably could have wiped the whole party and taken all the stuff they could carry. But after making us eat dirt for a bit they let us alone. Thank you guys for being cool. pappy and dafni too.

Oh yea. Didn't we call that one the "Damage Absorbtion Challenge"? - "Man you absorb damage VERy WeLL!" If I'd known we were doing that one I would have dusted off -Recker- the Paladin/WM Scyther.

He's a bit of a drunkard. Even for a dwarf. That night, I think he had so much Ale that he fell flat on his face. Should have SS'd that one. Up until that point I had only done that in RL.

That was so lucky though. DC 30 is over 20 above my Bard Song boosted fort save! If I hadn't countered I'd be a little pile of dust

Anyway, good job to PWnD, great fun, great prizes, great time competing. Irony is, it was pure luck that -Glow- Critted highest on me: They wiped out my damage shield in their warm up hits!
