Isenduil Do'Suoberranza: Weapon or Person?

Post by jake23482 »

I have lived a life typical of a male of my race. I am drow as my undercommon name might reveal, if my black skin and white hair didn't first. I was a respected member of my house, okay about as respected as the youngest male child could get in the family. I was treated as a weapon, a tool to be used to advance the house's rank in society. It was my duty to make my family proud up until recently.
Early in my childhood, I was taught the languages of my people, and some of other races of the Underdark. As is customary in drow culture, our people revear Lolth, the Spider Queen. I however was taught the religion, and how Lolth was to use me for her plans. I now only see Lolth as a cultural custom, and worship no deity now. My main and primary schooling was that of the martial form. I learned how to use many different weapons, but the rapier just felt right in my hands.
I soon became know in the lower houses of Menzoberranzan as a remarkable duelist. My reputation became good enough that a priestess of another house similar in rank to ours wanted me as her mate. I refused, as I was not interested in her emotionally. She didn't want me, she wanted my blade to make her house stronger. Naturally this angered her, and my mother. I was forced to flee for my life, or be sacrificed to Lolth.
As I was running from my brother, and the house guards a shaft of Aether pulled me into a strange world. Now my choices could make my life as a person a reality. My only fear is that my brother would find me and kill me. For now I will live peacefully with these people of the Last Alliance..............
Punishment to those that oppose me, and swift straight death to those who eat my cookies.
