I just had a hell of an event, where the DM didn't throw too many foes at us. Actually almost none. Though one was from the demonweb pits - cant wait to go visit - there was quite some rping going on. Just imagine a noisy kobold god, which isn't too bright, and tries to help in the Halls of the Dead by summoning some halfling fighters from Evenshire. Another time there were some chests behind a small army of skellies. After hoping for tomes, there were just some epic traps. Well, my ranger will be equally thrilled.
Well at some point we were all dead, and had to offer some shiny stuff for a res in a trade.
There is no doubt I prefer these events over the usual hack'n slash (which is certainly still better than nothing, and faster too). And the xp is usually sweet too...
So keep it up. Lately there has been a lot of movement, love it. I wouldn't focus too much on which lvls will participate, just look at the roaster and throw something our way
