Now then, i had a pure barb built long before i knew there were ever going to be such things as pure class bonus's or feat changes for barbs. well not that long before i think i did it when ogre came out as a sub race, any-who i took all the feats not knowing that they didnt stack and most were useless.Lorkar1 Posted: Sat Oct 27, 2007 6:20 pm Post subject:

Ok, I saw the changes. And I for one think they blow chunks.
After the first changes went into effect there was no mention publicly that the feats had been changed but a few of us found out and i for one thought they were fantastic. They not only improved upon feats that had almost no use as of present, but they also helped a bit with the barbs biggest weakness which as everyone should know is will saves.
Then along came pure class bonus's. Now i havent spent a huge amount of time messin with this yet but as far as i can tell they help with everything that needs it and boost some stuff that was ok to start with. I think for my 2 cents that barb pure class is one of the most well rounded pure class setups made to date. I also think that sparky and all others that were involved in it deserve a heck of alot of credit.
I mean come on, the gods know that when pure fighter came out that was way out of wack... a dragon getting kd'ed.... pffft!
In closing i just want to say that i think the pure barb setup should be used as a model for all others. Dont overpower the class just boost up some of its weaker points and make it into a viable option to play pure.
