seriously though..if i had access and know how, PM's would be required to be evil..and it would have been that way for a long long time.

I fully and completely agree, how does one willingly turn themselves into partial undead for the sole purpose of being immortal without being evil?

It defies alll that is natural about the world and the gods

There are even good liches in the Forgotten Realms campaign, can't remember the exact name, but yeah they do exist.

Alhoon are liched up Illithids, can't remember what the good aligned human liches are called.

And if they make it so that Sunburst hurts PM's or turning works, it's only fair they make banishment 1 shot kill genasi and Tieflings/Aasimar.
This will not be over quickly.

You will not enjoy this.

PM's (and liches) do not necessarily have evil intentions when they become pm's. They may just be trying to buy themselves more time to finish their work; work that is meant to help people; work that can save peoples lives.

This would make them neutral. They are commiting an evil act, but with good intentions. This kind of behavior is often attributed to a low wisdom score.

Uhhh yeah... that's right... so, um... that's what Brilhasti is I guess... only a PM instead of a lich. :) Yay for non-evil PMs!

Note: I do have an evil Pale Master...

i disagree lol, the reason that there are good alinged liches and palemasters is because wizards of the coast got ahold of d&d and pooch screwed the hole operation.

the act of becoming undead is evil pure and simple. i dont care why you do it. it taints your sole. its evil your evil period lol.

its always how i ran my campaigns anyway, but this isnt a topic that can be judged with right or wrongs.

it really is one of those things that is left up to each person to decide.

you know what they say, "opinions are like a** holes, everyone has one and they all STINK"
