This will give an advantage to those with blind fight, archers, mages, and rogues. Though the relic holder will be at the greatest disadvantage as the blindness will follow him all the way home. It will be easier for defenders to attack him when he cant see where he is going or the large group of defenders swarming around him.

This bright light will also disable hide/hipsing.

Exactly!
Sorry if I dont seem dedicated to an opinion, im just spitting out ideas.
But, if this is just too crazy then, maybe just the hide penalty for the bright light, or maybe nothing. Give everyone everyone equal opportunity in their ablilities. Let the shadowdancers hide. It is the responsiblity of the defenders to max out their spot.Mr. O'Dearly wrote: Now that would be entertaining.

Aye, 'tis okay. Nothing wrong with brainstorming.
Now, I've been in a group of 5 defenders against a single shadowdancer. No, he never got the relic for if he stood still in one place for more then half a second we woulda wrung our hands around his scrawny little neck. But none of us could spot him, it was the most agonizing and irritating experience I've ever had. What you say is true, it is the defenders' responsibility. However, spot is cheese bourne of the devil...Mr. O'Dearly wrote: Let the shadowdancers hide. It is the responsibility of the defenders to max out their spot.
