cleric and mages relogging for spells?

used to be a script in NS3 that when u logged in you had no spells memorized (other than quickened ones, prolly a bug there) so i'm guessing they are making adjustments and tweaks to a similar such script to be put in at a later date....
Type post, tab tab enter, wait 4page 2 load, shift+tab tab enter, REPEAT!!!

Well. I'm guessing:
+12 Heal Kit
+76 Heal Skill (with the skill improvement feats and maxed wis (50 wis))
+1d20
= 89-108 hp healed per use while naked with no gear at level 40.

Throw in the extra bonus's from skills and whatnot and you will have a good deal more.

Which is squat on a lvl 40 fighter with 800 HP. Also fighters don't have 50 wisdom. about 10% of pure divine casters get 50%. So heal kits are not an option for high level fighters.
OI *raises hand* me me me, i was banned partially for it

anyways logging aint the problem at hand its the reason why they log. a good fighter with high saves wins from clerics and everyone else mainly cause they can buy as much heals as they want and just heal untill the other chars are done casting and then the fighter has the bigger advantages in fighting.

if you want to get rid of those bugs take out the heal pods. it will force players to work together a mage will need a fighter for hp, aka flesh shield and a fighter at his side will need a cleric for heals and resses and buffs.

that way no player will rule on his own. easy to do but downside of this all will be.

devs won;t do it simply cause everyone in the community starts to whine and maon about it. it is to hard fighters got no chance anymore blablabla.

your not supose to own the server alone or win everything without raising your hands or breaking a sweat geez how stupid can you be if you want that go to fricken power game servers. ns just a half PG server atm.

You also have no clue what you are talking about. Every time I played on a server without heal potions 75% of melee on server were had 16 cleric levels or more. Removing heal potions would make server totally biased toward clerics. Already, clerics are one man army, one char that can do everything. The whole rez business in NS4, which is in my opinion a stupid design choice, makes for a lot of clerics around here and taking out heals would make NS4 a totally cleric server. Of course ppl often play classes that aren't most powerful, but still most ppl would be cleric hybrids. Clerics certainly DON'T need additional bonuses. Of course druids have heals too, but they are not such fighters and they don't have rez. Saying that people will complain about removal of heal potions because they can't solo everything is stupid at best. The removal of heal potions would affect mostly melee, while casters are the ones that solo everything(and they either have heals(divine) or they use invis and heal kits on d4 a lot).
You whole point is laughable. Clerics solo way better than any other class, they can act as caster and as melee. Those players you are telling to take a hike, that is players that want to solo everything, are in fact often players with cleric melee hybrids that will only gain in power if heals are removed.

I think you can get +17 from gear. +7 from gloves, +10 from 2 rings.

And heal kits ARE an option for high level warriors. Have to be smart about how you use heal kits.
Too many people are saying stuff isn't worth using just because it isn't a 1 trick pony.

spura, i made clerics all my time in nwn both casters and melee.

if you make a cleric highbreed to get your heal spells you will ruin a melee class to such a degree that any other melee class will take you down within 2 mins.

don't come with bs if you do not know anything about it. and abotu casters. yes they own everyone else blablabla only if they use death magic. lv40 players win always from casters if they got good saves. and casters owning bosses i doubt it since there spells never do enough dmg to kill em. the best casters i seen still had to rest 2 times atleast to get the ammount of dmg to kill a boss and this was with the help of a melee class to keep the boss from respawning/resting.
