Saying MD didn't know how to build would be similar to saying that Slaves don't know how to build, or HNs, or BB, or any of the other guilds with long time exceptional players (there are more guilds and people than this, I just named a couple to make my point). Its just not true, unless you're talking about the noobs in MD (which is to be expected from noobs), cuz the core members were great builders.
More importantly, they knew how to play their builds very well. There aren't very many on the server who could play a HiPSer as well as Pielo or a bard as well as Linux, or a caster as well as Eb, etc etc the list goes on. They were fast, they made all the right moves, and generally got more out of their builds than an average player. The key to being an effective pvper is knowing how to focus a build and then knowing how to get the most out of that build, and lastly knowing how to play to your strengths against your opponents weaknesses. They were exceptional.

errrr.. excuse me... I must say that myself as well as the other -Slave-'s have greatly appreciated the comments and compliments, please lets keep this thread on a positive note.
Other great and glorious battles should be the focus of this thread. Who can build what and how good or bad at it they are should go into a different thread.
Thank you.

I think every guild has it's good builders and not so good builders. It takes time to progress. The Slaves have good builds. It is plain and simple. But, it is not the builds that are so impressive. It is the combination of builds and the way they use them together. I for one have gone into crowds and held my own pretty well, but I usually get crushed when fighting the Slaves due to their great organized unification of their builds and tactics.
M.D. had some good builders and not so good builders, just like any guild. They used brute force and numbers... oh what a beautiful sight that was.
I could go on, but the purpose of this post is not to point out strengths and weaknesses of each guild. I would just like to say that we appreciate each and every guild for making the game interesting... to both friends and enemies alike. Friends make the game enjoyable, but enemies make the game fun. So good job and thanks to all of you, regardless of your role.

id like to second this. when i remenis (how the heck do you spell that?) about nwn with purgatory (me n him = first 2 slaves) its always laughs and smiles due to the enemies. how much fun it was to go 10vs2, hunt down so and so, camp LA merc district or dark forest to pk etc etc...good times.Gornickthy wrote:I think every guild has it's good builders and not so good builders.
