Aasimar light
from the change logg
"5. Was a bug where Drow/Tiefling were not being blinded by Aasimar's light aura. Reworked Aasimar/Drow/Tiefling blindness. Aasimar are no longer blinded by Drow/Tiefling darkness if the Aasimar has their light aura up. Likewise, Drow/Tiefling are not blinded by Aasimar's light aura if they have their darkness aura up. Otherwise, Aasimar light aura blinds Drow/Tiefling, and Drow/Tiefling darkness aura blinds Aasimar. "
all i can say is WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news.
How many uses/day is the drow/tiefling darkness token?
Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but it seems I've seen someone use it more than once without resting.
IMO, the tokens should have the same number of uses per day if they don't already. Just my two cents...
Thanks for all the hard work, Linux!

Please let me know what you find... as far as I know Drow/Tiefling were never blinded at all by the aura. What I noticed before the fixes is that Aasimars get blinded and STAY blinded, where drows were only blinded while in the light... was that fixed too? I'll have to check later...

I'm getting mixed results. An (IO) drow and have been testing it. Seems the person who enters the aura may get blinded. Seems to occur more while in party than pvp. Some other things occured, possibly because of lag, such as not seeing monsters when exiting aura and I did just crash, before posting this.

Were and still are (just tested 10 mins ago)LinuxPup wrote:Were they getting blinded by any darkness? I thought it was only drow/tiefling darkness only.
I have noticed that the blinding seems to happen only when you run thru/into 'it' hasted, if you are not hasted 'it' doesn't seem to happen, if you are hasted but walking then 'it' happens sometimes.*
'it' being both for: darkness for aasimar or aasimar aura for drow...
This was with UV on both toons and both auras up, or Aas aura up entering cleric-cast darkness.
*-seems like the same old problems as seen with the original Battletide spell.

Tested with Aasimar and Tiefling. Both become blind with light/darkness up. It is possible for Aasimar to see into darkness if outside aura but goes blind and stops dead in tracks when you move into it unless using keyboard. Didn't matter which one activated first or if either within or outside area of other when activating. Different or same level of characters made no difference. Didn't notice any difference based on movement speed.
Adapt or die.
