Shiv dagger doesn`t drop at all. I got everything else from the molemen...

well...i'll solve 2 of blystos's bugs now.

convo bleed and item loss are server lag issues. problem solved ;)

Pure Classes
============
Ranger, Rogue.

For pure Cleric/Druid/Wizard/Sorcerer spellcasters, I would look at three areas for bonuses: Spell DC, Damage Output and Spell Slots.

Spell DCs
---------
A simple idea (no doubt thought of by others) is to increase Spell DC for Epic Focused Schools - at 21 levels: +1DC, 25: +2DC, 30: +3DC, 35: +4DC, 40: DC, +5DC Making the highest DC with a +4 Book DC53 for a level 40 Pure Caster.

Damage Output
-------------
Some spells already have been modified to reflect spell foci. Not sure if it can be implemented, would it be possible to have a blanket application to all spells for pure casters to have at 21 levels: 10% more damage, 25: 20%, 30: 30%, 35: 40% and finally 40: 50% more damage to spells.

Spell Slots
-----------
A Ring "token". Which gives the wearer.

At level:
21: +5 Spellcraft and Concentration and Level 5 Spell Slot
25: +10 Spellcraft and Concentration and Level 5,6 Spell Slot
30: +15 Spellcraft and Concentration and Level 5,6,7 Spell Slot
35: +20 Spellcraft and Concentration and Level 5,6,7,8 Spell Slot
40: +25 Spellcraft and Concentration and Level 5,6,7,8,9 Spell Slot


Weapons
=======
+5 alternate versions of all weapons that don't have them beyond the Golden Mith and single option. Spear, Hand Axe, Light Flail, Light Hammer, Mace, Sickle, Sling, Scimitar, Battle axe, Club, Katana, Longsword. Double Axe, Dire Mace, Two_Handed. More Crossbows! and for frogofpeace more DAGGERS!

Items
=====
More Items that are class/alignment/race specific. There seems to be too much focus on avoiding bad things like Smite Evil/Good which the latest Pally Pure Class addressed with The Detect Evil upgrade to Neutrals). We could see some different alignments being used. Different races other than Earth Gen, Drow etc. Using lesser known classes (prestige or otherwise) - ranger bows/armor/wpns, assassin only wpns, RDD, blackguard, PM, AA. Try and encourage diversity.

I am not saying weapons and items make a character but it adds flavor knowing that I have an item that others cannot use because I have decided to rp a bit. It also makes taking UMD more important and increases skill decisions.


Small Jobs/Quest Areas.

There are a lot of areas that are not being used either because players do not know where they are or it may simply be "on the way to somewhere else". Areas such as the Archeological Camp have some nice spots. The cave entrances along Ogre Pass, the side camp up mountain trail. The troll lair, Badlands, Old Wold, Niragawa Tower, lots of places for some small bosses/quests to gain items like the restricted ones mentioned above. This would mean the whole server won't have the same items (unless they make the exact same builds). There could be an assassin item quest for example, or an RDD, Ranger etc.

work-arounds:

Trapped in the Planar Store: If you're in the store without a planar token you can't get out... but I -have- escaped it a few times by moving away from the portal, then queue up 2 clicks on the portal as you run towards it! This will give you a new token, with the first click and the second action takes it away and ports you out -- but the location seems to be random - so good luck on that.

Store Item Loss: From my own experiments, it seems that if you are PATIENT and let the entire dialog load even tho you know the number to hit, let it spam your screen first, make sure it's done, then click the buy options one by one - it worked for me even during lag (tried it many times to verify).

since a fiew people wanted races i had an idea for some

Paraelemental Gensai

Magma, Smoke, Ooze, Lightning, Ice, Dust

there are a fiew other Positive and Negative but they seem a bit extreem to me

if the devs are intrested i can provide a link to a site that has descriptions and stats for them as player races

howbout less human subraces...more subraces for those that dont have a big variety of ECLs..

elves only have ECL 3 and 0s..maybe add some 1s and 2s
dwarves have a nice variety
half orc just has an ECL 1...maybe add a ECl 2/3
halflings could use an ECL 2/3
half elves...could use anything (they are naturally inferior to elf/human so maybe make subraces a bit better for them
gnomes could use some lower ECL races

im tired of making everything a earth genasi or githzerai simply cause they are the best subraces atm...add variety in the others and you wont see so many humans.

Working on a unique ability for Water Genasi... I think its pretty cool. :D

But I think you're right on less human-based subraces.

EDIT: btw, Water Genasi is by FAR the least used subrace... less than 80 ever made since last wipe if I recall.

i have one :) looking forward to what you come up with for its token

ok so for non human subraces heres a coupple for ya

as a subrace of elf or half elf Nymph or Dryad ( mainly due to their slight body type and they have more in common with elves than humans ) perhaps both Nymph would fit well for a bard favored class race Dryad can be a second Druid favored class race.

for the 1/2 orcs since we have kender already why not Irda aka High Ogres IIRC they are a magic inclined race with cha bonuses so theres another race for sorcerers

Jungle Dwarves and Snow Dwarves are also decent options both with their own unique abilitys and quirks

Petch can also be concidered as RK has the tunnel they made for them perhaps as a halfling or gnome subrace rather than a dwarf one tho with only gnomes and dwarves being available in RK gnome seems more appropreate.

i still like the idea of the paraelemental gensai as humans are the most prolific race it only makes sense that they would have more variety in their race.
