Immunity to paralyzation

Can someone from the DM/Dev team please explain why every giant in FD is immune to paralyzation?

Just about everything

is immune to mind effecting spells ...

Ya know can not control undead cause of it even ... undead have minds apparently.

and an addition, why is there no check made or even a server notice that ice trolls are immune to paralysis when stonehold is cast?

Ah my occasional drive by, this answer wont make you happy but a while back I removed a couple of their immunities, I tried to be cryptic at the time now I just dont remember

But they are still immune...

at least with giants there was a yellow combat message saying they were immune. You dont even get that much with trolls.
