So here goes nothing. This is a test post with a pic of me and burrahobbit back when I was still a working man in 2005.

And these are pics from our backpacking trip this past weekend back home in Colorado. It was so nice to be home, but I forgot that there isn’t any oxygen hence my frazzled and exhausted look. That and I’m a fatbody with swivel chair spread(you know what) disease. My wife signed me up for the Marine Corps Marathon this fall, I think as a hint that I need to get back in shape. I’m taking it as that, cuz there’s no way in H E double hockey sticks that I’m gonna be able to run a marathon in 3 months time.

Anywho this was on our way in, from left to right; Sasquatch, me, and superporcupine, pay no attention to the little imp--I mean my nephew in the background


And this is burrahobbit after he joined us a day late.


Mad props to burra for hiking in on his own without water (cuz he’s an idiot). We’re talking about 5.5 miles, at over 8k feet, the first 4 on a nice trail, but the last mile and a half is all backcountry with a 2,000 foot climb up a 45-60 degree slope. Lots of fun with water, but in his condition (you’ll have to ask him how good he was feeling, I won’t volunteer it) it had to be a miserable experience. While he was lying in this hammock, you could see both of his calf muscles spasming and locking up. The funny part is he just lay there sucking down cigarettes and begging for food, pretty much ignoring his calves as apparently he had other more important needs to worry about, than pain lol.

And this last pic is us on our way out, looking a little bedraggled. Again From left to right, me, sasquatch, burrahobbit, and superporcupine.


Sasquatch has promised he will be returning to NWN after his latest disappearance into WoW. We'll see how things go, but the rest of us aren't holding our breath .

I got a new boss! She was born the 21st of last week hence my absence and probably continued absence for some time yet .

The above so far is a good CLAD or TSS candidate, very sweet nature and very easy going. However her older sister, is a Fist through and through. An angry child, don't let the smile and pretty face deceive you, she's a tyrant , and I'm her willing minion. I always thought children were supposed to be their parents' minions but as usual I was wrong . . . again.

They say to never try to ourun a tornado, i say why sit there till it gets you. These are small ones that rarley do much damage though.
