Faction Defence Unique Hero guys

Just a quick question, a few nights ago server was kinda empty so i thought id go grab the la relic before heading to bed. when i got there i was totally ambushed and smashed by 8 (yes i counted them) LA sharp shooters in like 5 seconds lol. Obviously one of 3 things happened.

1. a DM was on and decided to have some fun - cool by me
2. The faction heroes were put back in but something went wrong and 8 of them spawned.
3. and probably the most relevant my build is junk - lol lvl 35 fighter cleric rogue owned in the click of a finger.

Ive seen the same thing happen in the MA tower.

When i asked a DM he said he didnt do it. Also watched us raid again and saw the spawn and said it was weird as jeck.

Could also be a DM having fun

I'm guessing its similar to the Amazon Super Spawn when theres 50 Lanceresses on a screen. Ecept instead of Amazon Lanceresses its Alliance Heroes.

I had experienced something similar on May 13th while hunting for Faction Boss gear.

2007:05:13 @ 22:58 PDT - 8 Coalition Enforcers
2007:05:13 @ 23:33 PDT - 10 Circle Trackers
2007:05:14 @ 00:12 PDT - 6 or more Legion Assassins (some were hidden)

I stopped there because I figured it was a lost cause to visit more factions after being wiped out three times in a row

well nice to know i wasnt seeing things lol.

Anyways just thought i would post my own recent experience with this awesome relic game coming up - be on your watch ppl u may get smashed unexpectedly - not by M.D lol

yeah the hero spawns seemed to be disabled for a long time and then suddenly came back a few weeks ago. you get upwards of 3 if they spawn.

once we got like 4 archers in LA but 3 MA sorcs popped too in their entrance room and it was mass mayhem, pretty cool to watch them all fighting each other.

the other thing that is weird is occasionally you'll get a huge explosion when you touch the enemy cradle to cap and you get instantly turned to stone (no apparent save). if this happens then it will keep happening to that toon over and over again until a server reset i believe (though anyone else from your faction can come in, raid with no issues then drop the relic for you).

either the stoning is another "dm thing" or it's a random effect with a busted "random" calculator.

This happened to me and, just before it did, I noticed a message about my inventory being too full. I PMed a DM at the time and asked him if that was the reason I was stoned and he said yes. So I cleared out my inventory and it didn't happen again.

just goes to show you...when those pesky dm's are out to get you, its probably your own fault
