went to use a book and a error occured

i took a screen shoot of it message but i didn't get the +2 str but i lost the book and lost the xp. can i Get a DM to help me?

I've heard random stories of this... I would be careful of using a book during a lot of lag.

I've used a book on subraces with -2 and +2 abilities and gained the full bonuses still.

To date I've lost _4_ +2 int books, they all took xp and vanished, but the +2 int never showed up... at least 3 of the 4 were subraces with -2 int, and they all show that the int manual has been read when you do the 'tome' option on the emote book.

Also, as I noted in another thread, when I export the toon and try the debug command to raise the stat, it doesn't work either! ie: if the int was 12 and i SetINT 14, it stays at 12, I have to use SetINT 16 to get 14 INT...

All of the times I have used books have been shortly after a reset to ensure no lag problems, and I have used many other manuals (+2 and +4) without issue.

I've experienced zero problems with the +2 INT Tome the four or so times I've used one. But I've only applied them to toons with the Githzerai, Githyanki or Earth Genasi subrace.
