No ranger spells bug?

Just made a moon elf im planning on turning into an AA. Started him off as ranger. But im not seeing ANY first lvl or cantrip spells. I can see the columns they would be in, and i have a 1st lvl spell slot available, but no spells to choose from.

Race : moon elf
Stats : 12 str / 18 dex / 14 con / 14 int / 12 wis / 8 cha
Align : Chaotic good
Faction : LA

any ideas?

Rangers and Paladins don't get spellcasting at level 1. Consult the spells per day chart.

4th level is the soonest you will get any spells from ranger or pally

Ah ok thanks. First time played a ranger, much less dex char. figured they got their low lvl spells early and just stopped once they reached 10th or so lvl.
