Avendell, city of trade?
How about utilizing some of those empty houses in Avendell for faction branch offices.
And maybe have rooms inside those houses for transfers, guilds or otherwise.
I would propose a room in the appropriate house be given to each guild with a semi-private room for transfers and trades for the common folk.
The room would charge fees and the whole thing would act like an Escrow house.

Makes sense. Have the houses only enterable by faction members...
I don't know how Avendell would feel about a direct presence from each faction, though. (from the RP perspective)
From the standpoint of the Devs, transfer chests have been brough up before and shot down each time.
Also, the "faction-only" doors that we have in place don't seem to work reliably anymore, so I think it would generate more complaints than anything else...

Avendell shouldn't have a problem with it considering they pride themselves on being neutral. Kinda like the U.N....ok maybe thats a bad example. Switzerland then, they act as intermediaries and meeting sites quite often.
I understand the Dev's and DM's have shot down the chest ideas everytime, I am hoping that one of these times they will say, hey thats not a bad idea lets do it.
You never know until you ask....again and again.
Maybe the houses wouldn't be faction only to enter just the interior rooms with a steward or castellan there to key the appropriate faction members. Maybe the public rooms could act as recruiting areas, showing those that do not know, the benefits of belonging to that faction.
Maybe put faction info on a billboard of sorts.

hey i got an even better idea.... give all the players a magical token that portals em to whatever screen on the server they want to go. and every time they portal, have it create a rare unique item that is uber powerful...
you people gotta be kidding.... it isn't enough that boats and dragons cover virtually the entire world now.... now we have to have our bases in ave? nobody has to walk or learn maps as it is.... we spiral down to a "let's don't have to do anything ourselves" server..... so if you couldn't tell i am oppossed to this lazy-[censored] idea.

Why would I want to count 12 hours twice? I’m perfectly capable of counting to 24, and while we’re at it, can someone go shoot named time zones. GMT+x is all we need!
