well on the bright side that Dragonshape just got delevelled from 30 to 26 by the latest crafting feature, so i get to pick the feat again. joy.

Not wanting to start a new thread Im hijacking this old one.

How the heck does a contributer start a new page? I wanted to add info about the "Mourningstar" but I didn't see anywhere the clicky for this.

Well the weapon is actually a Morningstar. Unless it is crying that is!

You can add pages by typing this URL into your address bar for whatever it is you are trying to add. I recommend using underscores _ between words as sometimes browsers stuff this up and replace spaces with %20 which is ugly and harder to read.

For example:

http://www.nsrealm.com/ns4wiki/index.php/Name_of_Weapon

and in case you're wondering you don't need to 'add' it to the Weapons category page, just putting [[Category: XXX]] in the article is enough and the listing updates like magic.

Ah k, thanks for the replies. Now there is a small problem, after moving Flail of Commerce from Mourningstar, that name is already occupied. So, somebody needs to correct that.
And Name_of_Weapon has the content of Mourningstar.
But I understand now how to create a new page.
Sorry for the confusion.

Emm, I don't know... That page doesn't really explain how to create a new page. It's pretty easy to edit one, though. Click the edit upon and change.

Fyi, to create a new page use the link posted above (http://www.nsrealm.com/ns4wiki/index.php/Name_of_Weapon), instead of Name_of_Weapon write the name of the weapon or other item you wish to add.

If you are unsure what the format should be, just look another similar item up and cut and paste.

Now "create page" would have made it easier for beginners like me. But I guess the above method has it's advantages too.

Wikipedia has a banned words list, most of which consists of web addresses. This could be the solution to the spam problems.

On a slightly related point, I added a "Deletion Needed" category. Hopefully this'll help with the blank pages lying around 'cos people can't delete them.
Replace the article text with:

[[Category: Deletion Needed]]

to add it to the category.
