Circle Empath Job

I just recently finished the Emapth Job for the circle and i have a few observations for it.

I personally thought that the 2nd job (animal capturing) was a bit long and tedious with having to travel constantly between Melencia and the forest. I would suggest upping the % for a capture slightly, no more that 5%.

Secondly I found a problem with the 3rd job, one of the rune stones, the one containing acid flasks (i think) appears to not give any % complete bonus. However the task is still completable once you have click on them all, it just says to speak to the Boar when im only 91% complete.

Other than that I found this job good with a nice little reward. I'll give reports on the other two upon completion.

Try the mephit capture job out of MA and you won't say how tedious it is anymore.

I'll check the % readout for job 3.

Don't forget for job 2 you still have your crystal dust. If you're not using both that and the didge I expect it does seem to take some doing!

Also, adding my two cents.....after finding the "last item" you still have to deliver something to the Boar to complete the quest!! then you are 100% finished.

I don't understand your point. It says "100% completed - I should visit the Boar" in the text box when that is required.

Aye after you get the cookies it says "I should report to the boar"

Sorry Zing, I will be more specific......after finding the 8th item it says "80% complete" and after the 9th item is found it says "91% complete see the Boar"....the delivery of the cookies makes it 100%(IMHO)

so, I was under the impression there were no problems.

But from memory there was still one rune that didnt give % complete bonus, hence they werent planning to make the cookies teh last 9%. However my memory may be wrong

Also one the 2nd job dusting an animal gives u 1/2%, not really all that much.

Also I have done the mephit job MANY times, I'm and [IO] member

You get more % from the high cr creatures, the empath job didn't take me long at all. Hopfully you used the wild wood which has the most animals between all the surrounding areas of Melencia.

I do have a question which may be related. Ever since the TC jobs have been put in any new character from AO doesn't get the "You are a friend of the Animal" alliance. Even Chickens in Avendel are hostile which makes resting a tad bit more difficult there. Is this something new due to the jobs in TC and was it on purpose?

That explains the crazy live stock in Falme, sounds like somehow the animals have rebelled, (or lost faction allences)

So can anyone let us know if this an intentional addition please? New characters are having a bit of a time leveling against the "wild" animals that used to be friendly.

Not to mention that they don't seem to be giving up any gold from their guts for the grief. LOL

BTW: this only seems to affect recently created characters.
