Pure updates...?
Any progress on the next pure class feat release?
I've heard rumor of barbarian...but then again rumors are just that.

A really great bard / curse song...
Bard: +5 AB, +10 Bludg, +5 Will / Fort / Reflex, 65+ HP, +5 AC, +14 Skills
Curse: -5 AB, -5 Will / Fort / Reflex, -5 AC, -10 Skills, and 31+ Damage
What more could you want?
But, it's such a draining job that, until you've DMed on an NWN server yourself, you the playerbase, have got to cut the DMs some slack. - Flailer
No NO don't need to make the bard song THAT insane but a bit of a boost would be great, I think the best plan may be to add 2 or 3 token abilities that simulate some of the things that NWN2 bards can do... (and following how the pure fighter stuff is).
ie:
- Natural Armor boost
- An extra attack per round
- Freedom of Movement
- Regeneration
Possibly some kind of curse ability instead of one, but bards have less HP than other melee builds, so regen would be really nice.

Never played a bard so I*m a bit on a limb her, but cant much of this be acived with the bard spells. If you havt to give bards a pure class bonus, let bardsong scale til vl 40 instead of 30. Right now, I dont see any reason not to mix in something with the bard. Evasion is alvays nice, and extra ab has never hurt any one you know :p

Why would I want to count 12 hours twice? I’m perfectly capable of counting to 24, and while we’re at it, can someone go shoot named time zones. GMT+x is all we need!

FoM and Regeneration are Cleric, Ranger and Druid (not all classes having access on every spell) only afaik.

A finesse/spellcasting bard is mincemeat as whenever they stop to taunt or spellcast they're annihilated.
Yeah, that WOULD be really nice, a dex-bard without UD is in trouble, tho my heavy-armor bard does pretty well, but spells run out a lot faster.

Ahh...actually on NS4 my bards can get FoM, and some regeneration, don't forget about arcane crafted rods and UMD that lets them cast other class spells!
But, also aparently you've never played or read about nwn2, take a look at this:
Inspirations
You can sing songs that can improve moral and mystically enhance the offensive and defensive strengths of the bard and his or her companions.
* Inspire Courage: Increased combat damage
* Inspire Competence (2nd level): Bonuses to all skills.
* Inspire Defense (5th level): Improved armor class
* Inspire Regeneration (7th level): Wounds heal over time.
* Inspire Toughness( 8th level): Improved saving throws.
* Inspire Slowing (11th level): Enemies might move more slowly.
* Inspire Jarring (14th level): Disrupts enemies' concentrations.
Bardic Music
You can sing a song to help allies and hinder foes. As you progress in level and Performance skill, new songs become available and older songs become more powerful (Bard level/day).
* Countersong (requires Perform 3): Protects someone from an enemy spell.
* Fascinate (requires Perform 3): Mesmerizes nearby enemies, preventing them from taking actions.
* Haven Song (3rd level, requires Perform 6): Causes enemies to avoid attacking you (but not your allies).
* Cloud Mind (6th level, requires Perform 9): A more potent version of Fascinate, but it only affects a single opponent.
* Ironskin Chant (9th level, requires Perform 12): Grants the party damage reduction for a short time.
* Song of Freedom (12th level, requires Perform 15): Ends enchantments on allies.
* Song of Heroism (15th level, requires Perform 18): Improves party's AC and saving throws.
* Legionnaire's March (18th level, requires Perform 21): Greatly enhances party's combat abilities.
Armor restrictions
A bard can cast bard spells while wearing light armor without incurring the normal arcane spell failure chance. However, like any other arcane spellcaster, a bard wearing medium or heavy armor or using a shield incurs a chance of arcane spell failure if the spell in question has a somatic component (most do). A multiclass bard still incurs the normal arcane spell failure chance for arcane spells received from other classes. There is also an additional feat that can be taken by bards (not inherent) that allows them to wear medium armor without spell penalties. Note however that Medium Armor Proficiency is not included and bards do not get that feat for free.
