Is there anyone over 13 on this server anymore?

The Reason I ask is that as some of you know I've only recently returned here after a long time away. And within a week now my noob charcters (the highest of which is a whopping 8th lv) have been pk'ed so many times I refuse to try and keep count. Now Not once has this been by another charcter within 20 levels of mine (aka 28th lv or higher charcters ).

So is everyone left here a childish adolesent who can only get their kicks from pk'ing charcters who have no chance of even hitting let alone wining in a fight against them?

If this is what NS has become then you all can have it and good riddance to you all.

I have no problems with PvP as long as some restrictions are placed on it. The only restriction other than the ones already stated I feel should be implmented would be a 5 to 10 lv range within which pvp should be allowed. But considering the difficuulty lv on the show info has been disabled ( bad move imo ) there is no way to even come close to trying to see that happen. So in closing I guess I'll just go someplace else to get my nwn fix considering Neversummer has appearently become a greifers haven.

Feel Free to flame away at this post it will most likely be my last goodbye and have fun greifing anyone who decides to try NS4 out.

when i first started playing here about a year ago i was PKed so many freaking times it was ridiculous... i was very upset frustrated etc... then realizing that it is a PVP(griefing ) server, i rebuilt toons and decided to PK anything i can... when in rome......

heck i think i enjoy the pvp faction wars relic raiding more then i enjoy grinding out lvls...

pvp is far more of a challenge then pvm could ever be... AI is predictable humans r not so predictable...(except tlb spamming WoF and slaves spamming timestop .. both of those r very predictable haha)

i think alot of ppl including myself know how you feel it sucks to get killed so many times that you cant even get past the dark forest onto ogre mtn..but you can either give up and blame it on the immaturity level of ppl OR you can keep grinding it out and someday get your revenge....

would Rocky give up? NO he would take epic skill focus discipline and get better gear....

One bad apple can ruin the bushel... Just go to the reflections server, I have not seen or heard of any problems about PKs on it.

but anyways ; 5|-|17 happens.....and.....pvp /pk happens.

maybe you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time....

if anything plan and rebuild a new toon suited for pvp and bring the fight to them...

or join a guild, or solicit an individual or guild as a hitman to kill your killers....i believe the DcN offers these services

also, if you joined LA, some la members will happily aid fellow faction lowbies and defend against pk'ers for you....

document with SS's and post/send em to a dm....dont let a few pking noobies ruin your day

again, based on your join date it seems you are very oldschool if you have enjoyed the game that much in the past to return then maybe you should give it a bit more time before jumping to conclusions....

First off, no one can tell what level your toon is. So if you happen to be in an area where a raid is going on your going to get hit. There is no way around it. I myself try not to kill characters I've never seen before because their most probably a lowbie but, many lowbie characters are second or third characters of members of the guilds at war and thus try to follow and report on whomever are in the area. "A dead character cant follow you". I will also remind you that we have auto hostile and if your within striking distance of a toon running past you his character will auto attack. For many lowbies this is insta death. It happens, it's not nice but, it happens and you cant blaim the player as its hardcoded so blaim NWN.

You said you played here before. So you should remember that you can't fault others for raiding as it is part of the game. Now remember that they dont know what level your toon is thus, your just another obsticle in the battle. Not to mention calling everyone childish because you failed to do any research is wrong on your part.

I'm sorry if your upset but, if your a member of LA or AO then you should get used to it as their the most active battle grounds at this time. Sure it may move elsewhere but, be prepared for it in the mean time.

Generally the Reflections server is a little behind as far as behavioural evolution goes.

Playing on the main NS ( PRIME!!! ) server is more civilized, you should notice way less adolescent behaviour and way more helpful behaviour.
Just watch out for when a relic fight spills on to shout, but then again that is generally more entertaining than anything

and if you played NS4 in the past then you should have NO issue seeing that pvp is about half as bad as it used to be. *hmmmmm slaves okies kst clad NR * them were the days

Yep have agree with Fatz and Tekk the pvp is what makes NS4 so fun if you are having trouble make some friends, test things out, ask for aid

Oh and a little advice if you run into someone with a guild tag or from a different faction thats is not friendly remember some wise words.....

maybe reflections could become a pvp-lite server.. there is a mod called 3 towns that has 2 servers both r pvp but one is pvp lite meaning no random pking....it seems as if reflections is leaning that way anyways... just a thought....

I still think relflections should be the ns4 ginnie pig. Not sure a script will work, load it onto reflections first. Woot! a test server!
