Is there an easy way to go about this? I lost my drow ability and my journal (as well as a crapload of loot, but atleast i know how to get those back) when I got killed by a PC's summon, and would like them back.
I know of other who have the same problem, and along the same lines are all the AO followers whon went and sold their uniforms.
Some sort of automated inventory check either at server log in or when we talk to our faction leader would provide a nice DIY solution everytime this happens.

oops- I just submitted a bug on that. Its not just a problem with things like the robes being sold- I had 2 drow in a row that lost all equipment due to disconnects. It should be possible to make a "vendor" that offers items based on your player profile- make the items worth 0 gold and only usable by the subrace (or faction) and the problem should be solved
