Earth Gensi Bug....

I am now lvl 15 earth gensi fighter and Fighter is the favored class of the Earth Gensi.. I have not once received the bonus at each lvl for being a ftr.. Not that big of deal just letting you know so that it can be looked in to.. User name IVIAST3RDANA

i have discovered another problem ..one that i always assumed was indeed true, but i hadn't bothered to test it until now:

it seems that there is NO restriction on e-gens when it comes to cleric domains -- tho their SHOULD be one in place : i.e Earth domain .... tho this proves otherwise...

will the devs please look into fixing this when they find the time

I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I'm beginning to think that a race that gets an epic spell known as Epic Warding as an ability is a bit overpowered (FYI: while it lasts it gives immunity to crits). Fire Genasi get Flame Lash, a level 2 spell, and Earth Genasi get a (technically) level 10 spell as an ability.

I agree with Fricebottle.

That spell as an ability is overpowering. I mean do any of the other subraces get an equivalent. I know the Gnomes and Dwarves dont. I dont think any of the other subraces have it so good.

I would have to say it needs a bit of a "NERF"!

fire gen > death's accomplice

the fire gen ability scales with lvl at lvl 40 i think it is 40d6(could be way off...) but i have seen it do 200ish dmg on multiple occasions....ie dont wear robes of flowing around high lvl fire gen bards....

but yeah the earth gen ability is mean esp on PMs..

and as a general statement dont start a rant about nerfing anything, leave it be, ill bet if you smelly dwarfs had e-gen access you would be quite content.....so why dont you complain about that on a different thread and allow the Devs to comment here when they have the time...ill bet they are all very busy w/ the nwn2 projet........

again : this thread is about BUGS with earthgen.

Earth Gen is immune to stunning fist while their warding is up.

That's probably what Frice was thinking about there.

We had The Flying Dutchman hitting him and I didn't see any criticals going off. Hes a dual kukri build with a range of 10-20/x3 and 7 attacks per round, might just have been me though.

sorry ---- PM's are still better than earthgens no matter how hard you try to rip them...and just think that PM doesnt have an ecl

If that is indeed the case, it is not until lvl 40.... My erthgen can very well be stuned, and usualy is by a sertain wery evil AO monk
